Become an essential leader at Our Place Society as the Occupational Health and Safety Manager, focused on fostering a culture of safety and compliance. Partner with teams to implement critical safety practices and policies.

In this supportive role, you will lead the development and continuous improvement of the organization’s Occupational Health and Safety program. You will work closely with the Human Resources department, ensuring staff training, incident analysis, and collaboration with WorkSafeBC. This position is vital in maintaining our commitment to health and safety across all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute Health & Safety programs aligned with regulations
• Provide training and support to staff on safety matters




• Inspect workplaces for compliance and safety enhancements
• Maintain essential health and safety documentation and reports
• Collaborate with management to support return-to-work initiatives

Requirements:
• Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience related to health and safety
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License
• Solid interpersonal skills for teamwork and mentoring
