The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo is seeking a Bylaw Enforcement Officer to uphold regulations across Fort McKay, Gregoire Lake Estates, Janvier, and Conklin. Be part of a team dedicated to community safety and compliance.

This full time role involves regular travel among rural communities, where you will engage with residents and educate them on bylaws. You’ll also conduct investigations and ensure proper enforcement in areas such as animal control and property use. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for navigating the responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce bylaws in various community settings
• Manage investigations and respond to public inquiries
• Testify in court and maintain enforcement records




• Conduct foot and bike patrols in community areas
• Participate in local events representing Bylaw Services

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• At least one year of applicable enforcement experience
• Current Class five Operator's Licence necessary
• Certified in Emergency First Aid with AED
• Capacity to work in diverse weather conditions
