Helping those who have been impacted by lung disease.Position OverviewThe Coordinator, Research & Programs plays a critical role in advancing the LHF’s mission to drive positive change in lung health policy and practice across Canada. Reporting to Senior Manager, Research & Programs, the Coordinator will contribute to the day‑to‑day administration of LHF’s research granting processes, including supporting funding competitions, coordinating peer review activities, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders such as researchers and clinicians. They will help ensure processes run smoothly and align with organizational priorities.This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career professional who is interested in gaining experience at the intersection of research, data, and program delivery, and is passionate about improving outcomes for people living with lung disease.ResponsibilitiesResearch Granting & Program SupportSupport the coordination and administration of LHF’s research funding activities, including application intake, peer review logistics, and communication with applicantsAssist in maintaining relationships with researchers, clinicians, and partnersTrack and document funded project activities and support reporting requirementsProvide administrative support to working groups and committees, including scheduling and materials preparationProgram Data & Evaluation SupportAssist in the implementation of data collection processes and tools across programsMaintain and organize datasets,
ensuring accuracy and consistencyContribute to reporting on program performance and outcomesAssist in the development and tracking of key performance indicatorsKnowledge Mobilization & DisseminationSupport the development of reports, presentations, and other knowledge productsContribute to manuscript development and other dissemination activities, as appropriateCoordinate logistics for knowledge sharing activities such as webinars, workshops, and conferencesProject Coordination & OperationsSupport project planning, timelines, and deliverables across research and program initiativesAssist with grant reporting, funding applications, and internal documentationProvide general coordination support across cross‑functional initiativesEquity, Inclusion, and Organizational SupportApply a health equity lens in supporting research and program activitiesContribute to a collaborative and inclusive team environmentSupport additional projects and priorities as neededQualificationsAn undergraduate degree in public health, health sciences, health policy, research methods, or a related field; a master’s degreeis considered an asset1 to 3 years of relevant experience in health research, program coordination, data analysis, evaluation, or research administrationExperience supporting research funding processes, grant administration, or academic/research projects is an assetDemonstrated ability to support data collection, basic analysis, and reporting; experience with Excel or other data tools preferredStrong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelinesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to support development of reports and presentationsInterest or experience in knowledge mobilization, research dissemination, or supporting publications is an assetExperience working with healthcare professionals, researchers, or community partners is an assetFamiliarity with health equity principles and an interest in inclusive and patient‑centered approaches to research and programsProficiency with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems (e.G., CRM platforms, survey tools,
