Senior Financial Analyst - Financial Planning and AnalysisMarkham, ON, CanadaJob DescriptionRole:Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;)Status:Full‑Time, RegularDepartment:FinanceReports to:Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;)Location:MarkhamCompensation:$74,817 - $118,211Your compensation range includes base salary and potential incentive pay. Incentives such as bonuses are not guaranteed and depend on individual performance and company results. Actual compensation within the range will be determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications.ResponsibilitiesTaking ownership as a finance partner for designated product and business portfolio(s), delivering reporting, performance management analysis, and budgeting/forecastingGenerate monthly P&L; for the portfolio(s), engage with other parts of Finance groups to review month‑over‑month trends and performance, prepare budget v. actual analysis, disseminate performance drivers, and deliver business performance insights to key stakeholdersPresent product and portfolio(s) results, KPIs, and performance analysis to various internal and external stakeholdersContributing to the preparation of the 5-year strategic business plan, including providing support for the materials to communicate the strategic direction of the business and assisting with accumulating assumptions and inputs for the financial forecastsDevelop a strong knowledge of the business specifically around portfolio performance drivers and KPIs,



and perform analysis and modelling to support business decisions and financial return assessmentsLiaise with Product team and other business functions to gather inputs to prepare business cases, and present to various internal stakeholdersSupport the monthly forecasting and financial outlook process, while collaborating with various finance and business partnersContribute to the preparation of executive and board presentation materials for stakeholdersAssist with various special projects as required and ad‑hoc requests from Private Equity sponsorsSupport internal finance teams in analysing legacy deliverables and processes with an aim to make them more efficient and effectiveQualificationsUniversity degree in Accounting or FinanceProfessional accounting or finance designation required (ex. CPA, CFA, MFin, MBA)3-5 years of progressive experience in FP&A; (preferred), and/or in Corporate Finance, Audit, or ValuationExperience in advisory (valuation or transaction services) or private equity is considered an assetExperience in contributing to/ coordinating materials and presentations for boards or senior stakeholder groupsProficiency in Excel, including financial modelling skills and independently building models requiredAdvanced proficiency with MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Power PointAbility to interpret financial data to understand and identify trends,



assess commercial impacts, and communicate results with reference to broader corporate strategyRelationship building skills and proven ability to develop robust working relationships across an organizationMust be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlinesAble to demonstrate flexibility; must be able to prioritize or deprioritize tasks based on business needsUnderstanding of key P&L; components and their interdependencies is required, and working knowledge of IFRS is recommendedKnowledge of project metrics (i.E. IRR, NPV, etc.) is an assetExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong presentation skills and experience communicating with Executive LeadershipA self‑starter with strong attention to detail and a focus on meeting deadlinesAbility to prioritize, critically analyze, solve and where appropriate, elevate issuesStrong decision‑making and analytical skillsEnercare is an equal opportunity employer.
