1 Eastville Ave, Scarborough, ON M1M 2N5, CanadaJob DescriptionCurrent Rate of Pay: Min = $ 38.54 /hr, Max = $ 44.66 /hrHours of work: 35 hrs/weekDivision: Corporate ServicesBusiness unit: FinanceTravel: NoneFlexible Work Arrangements: YesExisting Vacancy: YesAbout TRCAWith more than 60 years of experience, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) is one of 36 Conservation Authorities in Ontario, created to safeguard and enhance the health and well‑being of watershed communities through the protection and restoration of the natural setting and the ecological services the environment provides.How you will contribute as part of the TRCA teamThe Coordinator, Accounting Services supports the coordination of key day‑to‑day financial activities and services.Major ResponsibilitiesPerforms quality assurance review of accounts payable, receivable and other financial activities for accuracy and completeness; collaborates withotheraccounting team members to ensure consistency in approachResponds escalated accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and general accounting inquiriesIdentifies and investigates any issues with provider bills and obtains mutual resolution of discrepanciesAdministers and processes procurement card statement logs and monthly journal entry, corporate vehicle and equipment usage and processing of 407 charges; reviews related monthlystatements for accuracy and ensuring appropriate authorization in compliance with policyCreates and maintains financial accounting reports; supports month end close process, forecasts, cost analysis, to support financial reporting and business/operational analysisAnalyses data and information to summarize account information, identify trends and discrepancies that require attentionPrepares accounting reports and information as required for audit purposesWhat will you need to succeedEducation (degree/diploma/certifications/licenses)Post‑secondary diploma or degree in Business, Commerce, Finance,
