SILP operates within YWCA Regina’s continuum of care—bridging shelter, housing,



and youth development—and is integrated with the Homebase Youth Hub and Community Support Hub at Kikaskihwan Center. The program prioritizes relational accountability, youth voice, and cultural connection as key components of stability and success. SILP supports youth in developing essential life skills, building positive community supports, and preparing for long‑term housing and independence while maintaining connection with their MSS supports.Position Description:Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Youth Housing and the general supervisor of the Director of Housing, the Residence Support Worker provides trauma‑informed, harm‑reductive, and culturally safe support to youth residing in the residence and supports them to navigate housing, education, employment, wellness, and cultural goals.
