Bus transportation to and from site is provided free of charge from several locations within the region.Mount Milligan promotes a drug and alcohol-free workplace and has adopted a zero-tolerance policy with respect to alcohol or unauthorized drugs on site.About the OpportunityWe have an exciting prospect for aTechnician, Haulingto join ourMount Milligan Mine (MTM)operations site.This role operates on a rotation of7 days on / 7 days offat a 12-hour daily schedule with camp accommodations provided.Reporting to the Mine Operations Supervisor, the Hauling Operator(s)



will be responsible for operating an Articulated Rock Truck in a safe and responsible manner. The operator must also clean, maintain and secure all equipment as directed by policies and procedures.Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Assist with the operational integrity of the Mining department as required; to achieve safety, environmental, quality, costs, production and continuous improvement targetsPerform pre-shift and post-shift safety inspections and complete daily equipment reportsReport unsafe mechanical conditions to a supervisorMaintain good housekeeping practices on equipmentFollow established traffic patterns avoiding road hazards and other hazardous conditionsAbout YouThe following will be critical to successfully perform this role:2 or more years experience running heavy equipment or operating a haul truck is preferableAttention and compliance to established safety rules and guidelines is paramountAbility to stay alert and pay attention to detail during all hours and weather conditions encountered during a shiftAbility to safely climb and access equipment, as well as lift heavy objects up to 50 lbsStrong leadership/team skills and the ability to work independently as requiredExperience in an open pit mining environment is an assetValid Canadian Drivers License and clear driver 's abstract requiredWorking ConditionsWork involves a camp-based role at the Mount Milligan Mine site with a set work schedule on a 7x7,
