Become a pivotal part of CLIC’s underwriting team as a Training Specialist. This hybrid position aims to improve underwriting staff performance through structured training and guidelines.

At CLIC, the Group Underwriting Best Practices & Training Specialist is responsible for leading the training and development of the Underwriting team. You'll coordinate training sessions and presentations, ensuring the staff is equipped with current and relevant knowledge. Your expertise will help refine Quality Assurance programs and maintain competitive underwriting guidelines while building strong relationships across departments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and conduct comprehensive training for underwriting employees
• Develop engaging case studies and training content




• Enhance existing training programs for various learning styles
• Monitor and manage Quality Assurance processes
• Update and maintain underwriting guidelines and procedures

Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma or industry equivalent
• 5 years of relevant Group Underwriting experience
• Strong background in adult education and training program delivery
• Solid analytical and communication skills
• Relevant industry designations (ACS, FLMI, CEBS) are a plus
