Fantastic opportunity for a General Internal Medicine specialist, with a specific interest in Cardiology and training in echocardiography interpretation (Level 2), to join the collegial team at Penticton Regional Hospital. Training or a willingness to pursue training in transesophageal echo is an asset. FRCPC-trained cardiologists who are also interested in covering internal medicine and critical care call coverage are encouraged to apply.

In this General Internal Medicine position, you will be part of our talented group of collegial and dedicated internists providing comprehensive, quality patient-centered care. Enjoy a stimulating mix of acute inpatient medicine including ICU care as well as outpatient clinics in perioperative medicine, Rapid Access Cardiology Clinics, and an urgent General Medicine Assessment Clinic. There are also opportunities for independent, private-practice outpatient clinics.

Working alongside an excellent team of hospital-based family physicians, surgeons,



and internal medicine subspecialists you will experience how this team truly creates the work workplace you have longed for! You will also have the opportunity to be actively involved in collaboration with the University of British Columbias Southern Medical Program, teaching and mentoring Family Medicine and Internal Medicine residents.

Subspecialty interest is welcomed, particularly in Perioperative Care or Addictions Medicine, where there are opportunities to develop new programs.
