Position Description Working alongside a team of administrative staff and healthcare professionals, you will engage with a large portfolio of patients.

This role will work very closely with the doctor to provide the best possible care to the patients through coordination and communication.

As the Medical Administrator/Medical Receptionist,



you will be responsible for ensuring the clinic is continuously running smoothly.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Answering patient calls and scheduling or rescheduling appointments Greeting patients upon arrival and administering any necessary paperwork Updating patient files with medical history, insurance information, etc.

Process payments when required Ensure office supplies are tracked, ordered and stored appropriately Receive shipments of medication and office supplies Answer patient inquiries, concerns, etc.

Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments and schedule off-site services Work with referring doctors offices to obtain patient charts and history Experience 3 + years of experience working in a busy medical office 3+ years working in the role of medical administrator, medical receptionist, office manager within a busy clinic setting Qualifications Post-secondary education required Advanced diploma in Medical Administration/Medical Secretary is a strong asset 3+ years experience in a similar role Education Minimum completion of high school diploma Advanced diploma in Medical Administration/Medical Secretary a strong asset
