You will play a critical role in the design, build, and evolution of highly resilient transaction processing platforms that operate at scale and under strict performance constraints.This is not a maintenance-only role. You will be driving new development, architectural decisions, and mentoring senior engineers while remaining close to the code.What You’ll DoLead the design and development of high-availability, low-latency Java-based trading applicationsArchitect and enhance real-time trade capture and processing platforms across the full system lifecycleProvide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of experienced developersCollaborate closely with product owners, business analysts,



and front-office users to translate trading requirements into scalable technical solutionsPromote strong engineering standards, clean code practices, and performance-driven designDevelop deep domain understanding of cash trading workflows and currency flowsSupport production systems as needed, ensuring stability, performance, and rapid issue resolutionWhat You BringMust-Have Qualifications:At least 10+ years of experience designing and developing distributed, multi-threaded systemsStrong expertise inlow-latency Java development(Java 17 or later) using the Spring frameworkProven experience building real-time, high-performance systems in complex environmentsSolid knowledge of relational databases and messaging technologies (e.G., Kafka, Solace, IBM MQ)Strong coding discipline with a focus on clean, readable, and well-tested codeAbility to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholdersNice-to-Have Qualifications:Previous experience supporting capital markets or trading platforms across any asset class would be preferred.
