Junior Structural EngineerShellex Groupe Conseil is currently seeking aJunior Structural Engineerto join its team at theToronto office .As a Structural Engineer within our engaged and collaborative team, you will contribute to large-scale projects, benefit from enriching professional development opportunities, and work in a stimulating workplace with competitive advantages.ResponsibilitiesPerforming technical design and project management activities; Supporting theteamof technicians/drafters in the execution of various projects (design and construction); Coordinating projects and communicating with external stakeholders; Coordinating projects with internal engineering disciplines (process, building mechanics, civil, electrical); Ensuring compliance with fee budgets and delivery schedules; Ensuring the quality of deliverables in accordance with firm standards, applicable codes, and regulations; Identifying clientneeds and proposing innovative solutions; Monitoring construction work, both from the office and on-site.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering from an accredited university, with focus on reinforced concrete, structural steel, masonry, dynamic analysis, and finite element analysis.
Master’s degree preferred; Eligible to work in Canada without further authorization; Currently working towards Qualified Engineering designation (P.Eng.) in Ontario; Experience in utilizing codes and standards – NBCC, OBC, A23.3, S16, etc.; Experience in structural analysis software – SAFI, STAAD.Pro, etc.; Experience in calculation software – MathCAD, Excel, etc.; Experience in drafting and modelling software – AutoCAD, Revit, etc.; Ability to work independently and efficiently; Ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively; Open and driven tolearn and develop; Maintains a valid driver’s license.Working ConditionsAnnual salary between$85,000 and $100,000, based on experience (salary scale corresponding to a junior engineer with approximately 1 to 3 years of experience); Flexible work schedule between37.5 and 40 hours per week ; Vacation policy of3 to 5 weeks per year, depending on experience.Two-week closure during the holiday seasonto fully enjoy this period; Comprehensive group benefits (full insurance coverage, telemedicine, RRSP, 3 sick days, mileage reimbursement for business travel, and more—providing peace of mind); Numerous team activities fostering a friendly and dynamic work atmosphere; Opportunities for professional development and training based on the candidate’s aspirations.#J-18808-Ljbffr
