The successful candidates must be personable and able to work in an ever-changing fast-paced environment.This role pays an hourly rate of $20.00 CAD and is tip eligible.Benefits for Part-Time rolesPension matching.EVERGREEN ROLEApplications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no applicationdeadline.About The VenueTD Coliseum in Hamilton, ON - $280 million renovation. The project will transform the facility into an 18,000-seat capacity venue with a reimagined facade, premium seating, enhanced acoustics, improved sightlines, upgraded concourses, optimized clubs and suites and artist lounges. The newly modernized venue will join a rapidly growing southwestern Canadian marketplace with the ability to accommodate larger shows alongside Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena. Opening in Fall 2025.ResponsibilitiesOversee concession stand setup, including inventory verification, equipment checks, and staff assignmentsEnsure all sanitation, safety, and operational procedures are followed prior to and during eventsProvide direction and support to stand staff and volunteers to maintain speed of service and guest satisfactionMonitor food production levels based on event attendance projectionsSupervise and assist with cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy and accountabilityTrain and mentor employees on company procedures, service standards, and best practicesCreate a safe, respectful,



and inclusive work environment; report safety concerns and incidents immediatelyServe as a role model by maintaining a professional appearance, positive attitude, and high service standardsSupervise responsible alcohol service, including ID checks and monitoring guest consumptionAssist with order taking, POS transactions, guest interaction, and food delivery when neededMaintain cleanliness and operability of all equipment and workspacesEnforce company policies and procedures while upholding venue standardsSupport employee relations including coaching, corrective action, and documentationAssist with inventory, training sessions, and other special projects as neededQualificationsAt Least 1-2 years’ experience working in a supervisory capacity in a food & beverage environmentAbility to lead and supervise the work of othersAbility to communicate effectively with all stakeholders including co-workers, customers and management which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environmentAbility to speak, read and write in EnglishAbility to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environmentPossess valid food handling certificate and Protected Serve CertificateAbility to handle cash accurately and responsiblyAbility to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventoryStrengthened by our Differences.
