SCOPE OF POSITION Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for preparing and operating the extruder to transform resin into rolls of plastic film.

Given the food industry customers served by Hood Packaging and the risks associated with our manufacturing activities, the incumbent must commit to complying with all quality and safety policies to ensure the continued maintenance of SQF certification.

The Extrusion Operator has the authority to act and make decisions within the limits of our applicable policies and food safety and quality standards.

Delegating responsibilities or assigning tasks to others does not eliminate accountability for the results.

Performance will be measured based on the incumbents ability to fulfill their responsibilities.



FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS Familiarity with SQF and HACCP principles.

Proficiency in French, both spoken and written.

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and promote teamwork.

Honesty, motivation, discipline, energy, and punctuality.

Strong ability to prioritize, with a sense of responsibility and initiative.

Collaborative, available, good judgment, self-motivated, proactive, methodical, organized, and versatile.
