This is a pivotal and exciting time in our journey, as we bring this life‑changing technology to patients!As a member of the human factors team, you will gain hands‑on experience in the development and commercialization of complex and leading‑edge medical devices.Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.Meaningful work you will be a part ofYou will engage in activities that develop practical and transferable skills such as:Conduct human factors research with end users, including healthcare professionals and Kardium staff.Investigate and identify opportunities for improving user experience with medical devicesConduct hardware and software usability testing as input to the design and development process to help identify opportunities for improvement.Support human factors validation testing for submissions to regulatory bodies,



including the FDADevelop creative design solutions to user problems and assess the usability of prototype designsUse human factors analysis techniques such as root cause analysis, qualitative analysis of participant feedback and sequence of events diagramsSupport use related risk analysisReview human factors standards and summarise design implications and recommendationsPotential for travel to support usability testingWhat you bring to the teamOur Kardium team is smart, creative, and passionate about creating cutting‑edge medical devices to help improve people’s lives.
