You will partner closely with the Director of Finance, firm leadership, and lawyers to provide insight, drive accountability, and enhance overall financial performance.This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys moving beyond traditional accounting into analysis, advisory, and business partnering.What You’ll Be DoingStrategic Financial Analysis & ReportingAnalysis of firm financial performance, including revenue, profitability, and cash flow trendsDevelop and deliver reporting and insights to senior leadership, the Accounts Committee, and our Managing PartnerBuild and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planningIdentify risks and opportunities related to revenue, collections, and financial performanceRevenue & Working Capital ManagementMonitor and analyze key metrics including WIP, accounts receivables, collections, and days in lock‑upPartner with lawyers to improve billing discipline, collections outcomes,



and overall financial performanceProvide actionable insights and recommendations to drive improved cash flow and reduce write‑offsSupport firm‑wide initiatives to optimize the billing and collections cycleBusiness Partnering & AdvisoryAct as a trusted advisor to lawyers and leadership on financial performance and decision‑makingTranslate financial data into transparent, practical insights for non‑financial stakeholdersSupport pricing, alternative fee arrangements, and financial strategy discussionsProcess Improvement & Systems EnhancementLead and support initiatives to modernize financial reporting, dashboards, and automationImprove data quality, reporting consistency, and accessibility of financial informationPartner with Finance and IT teams to enhance systems and reporting toolsLeadership & OversightProvide oversight of billing and collections functions through team leads (not day‑to‑day supervision)Support alignment, accountability, and performance across the revenue cycleCollaborate closely with the Director of Finance and Controller on broader finance initiativesFinancial Operations SupportContribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processesSupport month‑end, year‑end, and audit activities as neededAssist with development of financial policies, processes, and controlsHow You’ll Be a Great Fit5+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environmentStrong financial modeling and analytical capabilityExperience with revenue analysis, forecasting, and performance reportingAbility to influence and build relationships with senior stakeholdersStrong communication skills with the ability to translate financial concepts clearlyProactive,
