Provide day-to-day HR consultation and tactical support to managers and senior leaders within the designated business unit.
Advise leaders on employee relations, performance management, staffing, compensation, benefits, training, and other HR matters.
Coach managers through performance concerns, employee issues, and sensitive workplace situations using sound judgment and discretion.
Partner with business leaders to understand operational needs and implement practical HR solutions.
Support talent reviews and related talent-management activities, as needed.
Coordinate with other HR functions, including People Analytics and cross-functional People teams.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of HR activities, recommendations, and open matters.
Facilitate effective knowledge transfer to ensure continuity before, during, and after the leave period.
Identify potential issues, evaluate options, and independently resolve problems within established policies and practices.
Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
What you must have: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Solid HR generalist or HR Business Partner experience supporting a wide variety of leaders.
Demonstrated experience working directly with frontline managers and senior management.
Strong knowledge of performance management and employee relations practices.
Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee matters with discretion and sound judgment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Robust problem-solving, documentation, and knowledge-transfer capabilities.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
Willingness to work hours that align with primarily West Coast-based management.
Nice to have: Experience supporting engineering, technology, product, or design teams.
Experience facilitating talent reviews or talent-planning processes.
Proficiency with Workday, Google Workspace, and Slack.

This individual is a strong doer who can balance hands-on HR support with thoughtful consultation, communicate clearly at all organizational levels, and leave behind comprehensive documentation for a smooth transition.
Contract Type: Short-Term Leave Coverage Schedule: Full-Time; flexibility to support West Coast business hours may be required.
Candidates in Eastern time zones should be comfortable working a later schedule, such as 10:00 a.m.7:00 p.m. ET.
