Job Title: Front Of House Team Member Location: Whitewater Mountain Resort Department: Indoor Front Of House Reports to: Front of House Supervisor/Assistant Employment Status/Type: Seasonal- Part Time/Full Time November To April (Weather Dependent) Compensation: $; (alongside further perks) ___________________________________________________________________________________ JOB SYNOPSIS: As a FOH Team Member you are responsible for enhancing the experience of our guests day at Whitewater.

You are responsible for understanding the full menu, processing food and beverage transactions, assisting guests through the cafeteria line up, receiving cash, staff charges, balancing the days sales, restocking grab & go items, baked goods, coffee & hot chocolate station, bussing tables and ensuring the lodge is kept clean and tidy for guests.

This roll will have you working between the main cafe & snack bar Your personal interaction with our guests will foster a friendly, knowledgeable relationship which they will look forward to renewing each time they visit Whitewater. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Make sure all cups, condiments, baking, confectionery, and beverages are available to customers upon cafeteria opening at 8:15am.

Adequately and actively maintain and stock throughout your shift the following: cups, condiments, beverages, confectionery, cafeteria trays.

Expedite food from kitchen to guests as required.

Cleaning of the cafeteria tables and seating areas including sweeps of messes made throughout the day.

Observe and monitor the main food service area.





Report any liquor violations to your supervisor.

Monitoring bus bins, garbage and recycling.

Accurate cash handling throughout the day and closing out the sales point at the end of your shift.

Alert of any possible thefts or damage to Whitewater or guests property and report any such incidences by notifying your supervisor.

Do hourly bathroom checks to ensure supplies are filled and any major clean ups are reported to the supervisor.

Champion a sustainable approach in daily operations, planning, and development.

Promote Whitewaters safety culture by reviewing and amending where necessary but not limited to: Department Manuals, Employee Handbook.

Work to achieve department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assist in achieving organizational goals.

Embrace, promote and follow Whitewaters mission statement and values Maintain current knowledge of legal standards pertaining to waivers, equipment, safety regulations, and OHS practices.

Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION: Guest service, computer and cash handling experience are preferred.

Experience, Food Safe 1 and Serving It Right is considered an asset. SKILLS & ABILITIES: Must be organized and self-motivated.
