With over 100 employees and 4 offices across 4 provinces, and over 100 years of experience, DSL can offer a career that is reliable, challenging, and rewarding.What you’ll do:Completing Preventative Maintenance on a variety of specialty food service equipment, including frozen carbonated beverage (FCB) units, soft serve machines, super automatic espresso machines, fryers, combi ovens,
and clamshell grillsInteracting with our customers and ensuring that their concerns are appropriately addressed in a professional and courteous mannerEffectively handling requests and work orders on DSL’s Android appMaintaining an orderly and accurate parts inventory in your personal DSL vehicleWhat you’ll need:Experience in a technical role with a high level of customer interaction is preferred.Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.Refrigeration Journeyman certification is preferred; registered Refrigeration apprentices are encouraged to apply.Candidates with Refrigeration, HVAC, or Appliance Repair experience are encouraged to apply.1st- and 2nd-year Refrigeration apprentices, as well as candidates with equivalent hands‑on experience, will be considered.Experience working in appliance repair, mechanical or electrical fields is beneficial, especially if related to Taylor, Franke Coffee or Henny Penny equipment or equivalent product lines (i.E. Rational, Blodget, Garland, Bunn, Cornelius, FBD, Electro freeze, or Stoelting)Must possess excellent customer service skills, with the ability to ask probing questions and understand and resolve customer concernsMust be smartphone and tablet literate, with the ability to learn and navigate new software quicklyMeticulous and detail-orientedMust be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal. Any second language an assetMust have basic toolsTravel Requirements:Valid Class 5 driver’s licenseLocal travel is required daily, with occasional travel throughout various nearby communities and towns.
