ResponsibilitiesPerform in vivo and ex vivo techniques to support study objectives, applying deep technical expertise in in vivo procedures.Carry out daily health assessments and clinical observations, ensuring high standards of animal welfare and accurate documentation.Contribute hands‑on expertise during day‑of‑study activities, supporting efficient and high‑quality study execution.Prepare and maintain laboratory spaces, equipment, and consumables required for in vivo and ex vivo work.Troubleshoot technical challenges in real time, identifying opportunities to improve procedures and workflow efficiency.Ensure accurate and complete recording of in vivo study data, maintaining strong documentation and data integrity practices.Share technical knowledge and best practices with team members, supporting strong adherence to SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.Work closely with study managers and research teams to ensure alignment with study protocols and animal welfare considerations.QualificationsProvide the highest level of animal care while overseeing and performing in vivo activities.Possess robust expertise in animal handling, dosing (IV, IP, SQ), and blood collection,



with a solid understanding of the 3Rs and research ethics.Have 6+ years of experience in an in vivo research environment; a BSc/MSc and experience with in vitro, in vivo, and ex vivo techniques for PK and oncology models are assets.Manage competing priorities with ease and thrive in a collaborative, fast‑paced work environment.Be a self‑motivated, fast learner, team player, and creative problem solver.Have excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills, and be known for accountability and reliability.Be able to lift up to 25 kg and be comfortable with long periods of standing and bending throughout the day.Be able to work at least one weekend day per week.BenefitsSalary range: CAD $75,800 – $94,700 annually, commensurate with education and experience.
