Continuation of this position is based on renewal of funding.Essential FunctionsFacilitates the implementation of a weekly dinner meal services for all residents of Satellite Apartments.Implements a bi-monthly activity service.Implements a monthly resident government for all residents.Collects and submits all apartment maintenance requests.Maintains the multi-purpose room and office for all service effort.Performs other related duties as assigned or requested in support of program operations.University of the Pacific recognizes that diversity, equity, and inclusion is foundational to the success of our valued students and employees. and staff.Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.Preferred QualificationsVolunteer or paid experience in a helping profession.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and ability to use email.Ability to document service interactions and service outcomes.Ability to form and maintain positive relationship with tenants of the program.Basic understanding of San Joaquin County Mental Health Services.Basic understanding of cooking skills.Ability to operate office machines, copiers, scanners, fax machines, voice mail systems and personal computer.Positive attitude, proven ability to work successfully with diverse populations and demonstrated commitment to promote and enhance diversity and inclusion.Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative but not definitive of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
