Friday, 8:00 AM4:30 PM Pay: $16.75/hour Work Arrangement: Onsite Production Associate Job Description We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our optical production team.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced production environment and be responsible for processing, preparing, assembling, and inspecting optical products.

Previous optical or edge-and-mount experience is not required; strong production or general labour experience will be considered.

Duties Receive, sort, and process lenses and frames.

Read and follow work tickets, prescriptions, and production instructions.

Route orders to the appropriate workstation.

Perform tracing, blocking, edging, mounting, and specialty orders as required.

Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.

Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Follow established procedures and quality control standards.

Work effectively as part of a team in a production environment.

Perform other related production duties as required.

Experience & Qualifications Previous production, manufacturing, warehouse, or general labour experience is an asset.

Optical edge-and-mount experience is not required.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to follow written instructions and work tickets.

Comfortable working in a repetitive, hands-on production environment.

Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Ability to learn recent processes and equipment.

Reliable, punctual, and dependable.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to learn optical production processes.
