Job Summary: The Power Apps Dynamics Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom applications and integrations using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions that meet business requirements, ensuring high-quality performance, and supporting project delivery within a primarily onsite environment in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy custom applications and integrations using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
Customize Dynamics 365 modules including Sales, Service, and Marketing to address business needs.
Build Power Apps and Power Automate workflows to automate business processes.
Integrate Dynamics 365 with other enterprise systems via APIs, web services, and connectors.
Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI to support data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and team members to gather requirements and meet project milestones.
Perform testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure application quality and performance.
Develop and maintain technical documentation and follow best practices for version control and release management.
Oversee data migration, integration, and quality assurance processes.
Participate in project planning, execution, and delivery to ensure timely completion.
Mentor and provide technical support to fellow developers on Dynamics 365 related issues.
Required Skills & Certifications: Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 3 years experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
Proven experience in developing and customizing Dynamics 365 modules.
Strong understanding of relational databases such as SQL Server and data modeling.
Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with third-party applications using APIs, web services, and connectors.
Expertise in Dynamics 365 customization and configuration including plugins, workflows, forms, views, and business rules.
Proficiency in Power Automate for workflow automation.
Solid experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
Knowledge of Azure Dev
Ops for version control, CI/CD, and release management.
Familiarity with Java
Script, C#, and web development technologies.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Maintaining a clean criminal record check is mandatory prior to and during the contract.
Preferred Skills & Certifications: Experience with model-driven apps, canvas apps, and custom connectors in Power Apps.
Previous involvement in mentoring or training development teams.
Enhanced background check clearance for projects involving confidential materials.
Special Considerations: All work to be performed primarily onsite at 215 Garry Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Remote work allowed only with prior written permission from Manitoba at its sole discretion.
Overtime work requires advanced written approval and cannot be billed without it.
Maintaining a clean criminal record check throughout the contract is required.
Enhanced background checks may be required for certain confidential projects.
Scheduling: Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm CST (7.25 hours per day).
Manitoba statutory holidays are observed and unpaid.
Extended working hours may be required occasionally to meet project deadlines but are limited to exceptional circumstances.
