You have at least six years of experience in Automation.

Your responsibilities Assume responsibility for the overall management of the facility''s automation systems.

This includes managing technicians on site (internal or external), to act as main point of contact in the escalation process and as contact person for the client on all matters related to automation.

Secure the delivery,



on a daily basis, of the functionality of logistics automation systems.

Responsible for the mechanical performance and troubleshooting of facility automated equipment.

Coordinate all maintenance activities as well as scheduled repairs and reactive repairs of automated equipment.

Train and develop the team in health and safety and ensure that they are up to date in their training.

Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings.

Write detailed reports based on the work done on site.

Foster and develop continuous improvement through the team and documentation.

Assume responsibility for the installation of facility-specific equipment and training in the proper use of equipment.

Build strong relationships with the facility management team.

Some key points on the role.

Need to be able to speak French we could add to the job offer that you should be willing to learn during your first year basic French Would need to understand parts as you would have inventory control.

You would be managing a 3rd party vendor contract to ensure PM and services are being done as required.

Schaefer is the vendor they have a team of about 25 30 people on site daily.

You would be the liaison between the site and Schaefer.

Have a positive understanding of Budgets It would be Monday Friday unless there is a need for weekend coverage / you would also be called in for any emergencies Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
