We are seeking a licensed Industrial Electrician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems on production machinery and building services. This role supports our commitment to food safety, quality, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.Job Type:Full-time, UnionizedHourly Starting Rate:$36.01 per hourShift:12-hour rotating shifts (days and overnights)Day-to-Day RoleFollow all safety and GMP practices/standardsOverhaul existing and new production and building equipment and servicesDiagnose problems and take corrective measures, including installing design modifications to electrical componentsMaintain electrical components of machinery in positive working condition; perform preventative maintenance as requiredOther duties as assignedCore Skills and QualificationsA valid and permanent Ontario Electrician's License (Industrial and/or Construction & Maintenance) is a mustPass a technical test to measure mechanical abilitiesWork in compliance with Good Manufacturing Principles guidelinesProficiency in the use of hand tools, testing equipment, programmable controls,



etc.Read and comprehend schematics, drawings, instruction books, and technical manualsExamine defective components and determine appropriate corrective measuresMeet physical demands of the job, including heavy lifting, climbing, and working under extreme temperaturesIntense visual concentration and attention to detailExcellent oral and written communication skillsMinimum proficiency in English for training and communication on safety and quality issuesStrong interpersonal skills and teamwork abilityExcellent safety, work, and attendance recordFlexible to work 12-hour shifts on days or overnightThis is a unionized position.
