Project Managersupports timely, within budget project delivery utilizing advanced project management methodologies, and exceptional organizational abilities. This role will initially play a key role in supporting Spearhead’s expansion build, working closely with our existing project management team, project leads, tradespeople and external partners to ensure successful planning and execution.Following completion of the expansion phase, the Project Manager will transition to being fully dedicated to Spearhead’s core project portfolio. The Project Manager will effectively support multiple project priorities with minimal oversight, collaborating with several project teams to ensure successful project outcomes.This role encompasses comprehensive project lifecycle management, requiring strong leadership in cross-functional team coordination and relationship management. The Project Manager will ensure seamless communication and alignment throughout project execution by implementing strategic project planning, risk management, and project management maturity initiatives.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesExpansion Equipment Install Coordination (Initial Phase)Provide on-site support and coordination for Spearhead’s expansion build during the initial phase of the roleOversee and coordinate equipment installers and specialists, subcontractors, and site personnel for the installation of glulam production line equipment to ensure work is delivered safely, on schedule, and to specificationCoordinate the receipt, delivery, and on-site staging and movement of equipment and machinery to support efficient execution of the equipment installation for the expansion buildInterpret and work directly from technical drawings, construction documents, and building plans to support execution on siteMonitor and control progress on-site, ensuring alignment with project scope, quality standards, and construction methodologiesWork collaboratively with Sr Project Leaders, Project Leaders, and project teams to support project management needsSupport project planning through efficient development of project charters, scope statements, schedules, and budgetsProactively identify risks and develop comprehensive mitigation strategiesContribute to development of organizational project management maturity and best practicesPlanning & ExecutionStay current with project management methodologies to maintain high operational standardsDocument and share best practices and standard operating proceduresOversee project planning and execution activities, providing support,



mentorship, and guidance to team membersFacilitate seamless integration between project phases while maintaining organizational standardsDevelop and maintain project schedules with input from internal and external stakeholdersBudget & Contract ManagementSupport budget planning and cost management activitiesRespond to RFP’s and project pre-qualificationsGenerate financial forecasts and project cost analysisManage project invoicing, project expenditure, and project healthLead change request management and contract administrationEnsure timely development of project documentation for financial reportingFacilitate the monthly invoicing processResource Management & Quality ControlDevelop detailed work breakdown structures and coordinate project deliverablesParticipate in project kickoff meetings and monitor progress against established baselinesDevelop and implement project-specific quality control and risk management frameworks that integrate quality standards, acceptance criteria, risk assessment protocols, and mitigation strategies tailored to project scope and stakeholder requirementsDesign proactive monitoring and control throughout the project lifecycleCommunication & Stakeholder ManagementMaintain clear communication channels with project teams, clients, and stakeholdersSupport technical and business communication with internal and external stakeholdersTrack progress against milestones and maintain quality standards through regular reportingImplement governance processes for all project management activitiesCore CompetenciesInnovation & Problem-Solving - applies creative thinking to solve work challenges by combining traditional methods with new approaches.
