In Canada, FCC is proud to be actively involved in multiple projects across Ontario and British Columbia aimed at improving public transportation and infrastructure.Position SummaryReports to: Document Control LeadThe Document Control Coordinator Shall Be Responsible ForCoordinate all activities related to the Document Control procedure (registration, uploading, transmitting) including technical documents, drawings,



and commercial correspondence.Following up with all discipline personnel for action itemsEnsure Document Data accuracy in compliance with implemented procedure and policiesMaintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreementManaging the flow of documentation within the organization and with external Project entitiesRetrieving files as requested by individuals from different disciplinesCreating and managing electronic workflowsReviewing document quality and proactively addressing issuesCollaborating with other documentation teams to ensure consistency and efficiencyPrepare ad-hoc reports on projects as neededPerform other duties as requiredAssists in providing training and support to new project team members on document control practicesIdentifies and escalates system or processing issues to the Document Control Manager in a timely mannerEnsuring high accuracy in capturing metadata in both project and client EDMS systems (e.G., Aconex, Unifier) in accordance with reporting and auditing requirementsMeeting established turnaround times for processing and distributing documentationAssist with post-construction document archival and retention in alignment with Project Agreement specificationsEducation And QualificationsCompletion of a post-secondary education—Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma preferred—or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in Document Management or a related disciplineMinimum 3–5 years of document control experience in a construction project or site-based environmenProven experience in computerized and/or manual document control management,



preferably within the engineering or a related industryStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProficiency in document control software and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentJob RequirementsExperience in various electronic drawing file formatsAdvanced proficiency with applicable software applications such as Aconex, Unifier, Autodesk Construction Cloud, MS Office,Adobe Acrobat Professional, SharePointSolid understanding of project documentation and engineering terminologyStrong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.Fluency in EnglishExceptional organizational skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPrior experience in using electronic document management (Autodesk Construction Cloud, Aconex and Unifier preferred) as well as in processing both design and vendor documentationAbility to document work tasks (e.G., work instructions)Experience working in a site / project team environment with the proven ability to build relationships with immediate and remote team members, clients and stakeholder.Salary Banding$80,000 - $90,000WORK ENVIRONMENTFCC Canada Ltd. is dedicated to creating an inclusive workplace where diversity is valued and respected.
