Our Indigenous Early Learning Centre of Excellence has been developed to introduce children and families to experiences that support traditional knowledge, cultural identity, and a strong sense of belonging.We are looking for aCultural Instructorwho will help bring this vision to life. In this role, you will support children, staff, and families through cultural teachings, mentorship, curriculum development, and community connection. You will help create a space where culture is shared in a good way, and where everyone feels safe to learn, grow, and belong.What You Bring2–3 years experience delivering cultural programming, teachings, and curriculum in a daycare, youth, or community-based settingDemonstrated experience developing culturally relevant curriculum grounded in Indigenous knowledge, seasonal teachings, and community practicesExperience mentoring, coaching, or training staff to build cultural awareness and confidenceExperience planning and facilitating workshops, gatherings, and cultural events for children, families, and/or staffStrong experience building relationships with Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and community members in a respectful and collaborative wayKnowledge and hands-on experience integrating Indigenous cultural practices into daily programming (e.G., storytelling, land-based learning, language, ceremony, arts)Experience working in trauma-informed, culturally secure, and inclusive environmentsAbility to adapt teachings and curriculum for different age groups, especially young childrenExperience working within an early learning or childcare setting (asset)Experience working within an Indigenous-led organization or community-based environment (strong asset)Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skillsA warm, patient, and welcoming approach to working with children, families,
