Within a dynamic design team, the Electrical Designer I plays a fundamental role in the detailed design and production of electrical building systems, including lighting, low voltage, life safety, and control systems for various building types and applications.The Designer I performs tasks as directed by Intermediate and Senior Design Staff, including but not limited to setting up 2D drawings and supporting 3D building models, drafting electrical layouts, assisting with basic design calculations, and coordinating with the design team, equipment suppliers, and constructors to help assemble complete design packages for client submission.ResponsibilitiesREVIT/AutoCAD OperatorSet up AutoCAD/REVIT drawing files including digitizing and cleaning up working drawingsLV, Life Safety, control and lighting schematic design layout and design with supervision of senior staffEnsure Introba design checklist (drawing standards section) is being followedEnsure Introba’s Drawing Standards are being followedDetailed check of work prior to returning finished product to DesignerSkills and QualificationsAutoCAD/REVIT experience coupled with some design experience in LV, HV, Life Safety, control and lighting systemsUniversity degree, college/technology diploma in Electrical EngineeringAble to read Architectural, Structural,
