The Janitor / Cleaner is primarily a health and safety related position at ONroute to ensure that the required level of cleaning standards is maintained as well as disinfection of the plaza, equipment and overall space.ONroute is hiring part time and full time cleaners!What we offer:$17.90 per hourBenefits plan; Health and Dentalcoverage (full time employees)Employer match Registered Retirement Savings Plan (full time employees)Free uniformsSafe, respectful and inclusive workplaceThe job:New Position: NoBackfill Position: YesResponsible for all basic cleaning in and outside the buildingCleaning and disinfecting all surface areas including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windowsCleans restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinalsPicking up any trash and emptying the trash bins inside and outsideSets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and suppliesResponding to employee or guest requestsAssists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guestsPerforms additional duties as neededReliable transportation is required as our plazas are located on the 401/400 highways, and public transportation is not available.Who you are matters:While previous experience working in restaurants, food service or retail as a cashier, barista, food prep,
