[At least 2 years'' experience] Description / Responsibilities / Skills Description The Justice IT Cluster provides Business Intelligence, and Analytics services to the Ministry of the Attorney General (MAG) and its program areas.

The Justice Sector BI Enablement initiative was established to address an increased demand for BI development services.

The Report Developer position will play a vital role in the analysis, translation and development of Power BI reports to support several requests for decision support products (i.e., Power BI Dashboards and reports).

Scope Provide planning, assessment, and development effort to meet workload demand of the BI reporting enablement activity, which support program areas within the Ministry of Attorney General.

Work with a Project Manager and Business Areas to evaluate requirements, model/process data (I.e., Extract, Transform and Loading (ETL) & data warehousing) and develop reports/dashboards/data visualizations.

Work with project team to ensure reports/dashboards/data visualizations are properly reviewed for quality assurance and compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 Level AA.

Work with project team to complete all relevant and required documentation, such as knowledge transfer, and communication,

Deliverables Participate in requirements gathering sessions to understand the functional and non-functional needs Perform assessment, and define approach in collaboration with project team and stakeholder to successfully deliver effective BI Solutions Perform troubleshooting and apply corrective actions to resolve issues with BI Solutions discovered during pre-release testing Work with project team to provide relevant and required documentation to support migration activities and knowledge transfer Participate in knowledge transfer activities Experience & Skill Set Requirements Criteria 1: Technical Knowledge - 50 Points Experience/ demonstrated ability writing Transact-SQL (T-SQL) queries (at least 4 years of experience) Experience/ demonstrated ability working with Power BI Desktop, and Power BI Report Builder to design and develop reports and dashboards (at least 2 years of experience) Experience / demonstrated ability writing DAX code, perform data modelling and implement functionality within Power BI reports and dashboards (at least 2 years of experience) Experience / demonstrated ability using ETL tools,
