Responsibilities: Carries out maintenance activities on transportation infrastructure, including roadways, sidewalks, guide rail, drainage, etc.

Assists in erecting and maintaining traffic signs, pavement markings, and other traffic control devices Assists in painting markings on roads May be required to operate various spray painting equipment Performs other related work as assigned Key Qualifications: Your application must describe your qualifications as they relate to: Experience with municipal traffic control operations.

Experience in the operation and use of all vehicles, equipment, specialized attachments and materials related to the duties of this position, included but not limited to working on a ladder.





Must possess and be able to maintain a valid Province of Ontario Class ''G'' Driver''s License and must qualify for the City''s equipment operating permits and requirements.

You must also have: Must be able to work in all weather conditions and must be physically capable of performing required duties.

Ability to deal courteously with the public.

Must be able to work shifts, weekends, overtime, and work at various locations.

Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the regulations that apply to this work.
