Vehicle Scanner/Yard Worker
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7am to 11am
Payrate: $20.50/hr
Responsibilities include: General Labour
Vehicle consumer preparation for delivery
All training provided by United Road Canada
PPE required: Vest, CSA approved footwear.

Safety shoes are employee's responsibility to have and must be worn always onsite at TMMC.

Employee will be provided a scanner to scan a vehicle using the VIN (Vehicle identification number) located in one of 3 spots on the vehicle.

Employee is to remain on TMMC premises during the scheduled shift.

Purpose is to scan the vehicles in the parking lot before shipping to Canadian or US locations.

Build vehicle loads, then scan vehicles in denominations of 8 or 9 vehicles at a time
Driving vehicles from one lane to another, as needed, up to 200 feet.

Require good written/verbal communication skills; continuous learning and written report completion are important aspects of the position.

While onsite, employee must follow all TMMC safety regulations and procedures.

Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions are crucial.

Requirements: Must have access to a vehicle for the duration of the shift.

However, you are not expected to use your vehicle during your shift; it is simply to get to the work area and sit when you have downtime.

Able to work confidently and independently while following TMMC and Kelly Policies and Health and Safety rules.

This assignment is outdoors, and wearing the appropriate clothing is a requirement.

Ie Snowpants, hats, mitts etc.
