What the day will look like
Provide insurance advice and guidance to Affinity and commercial clients
Identify specific client risks and develop and present innovative coverage solutions to support the growth objectives of existing/new business
Analyze specific client risks and detail coverage requirements.
Prepare and present marketing proposals for renewals and recent business
Consult with underwriters to establish the best premium and coverage conditions (as applicable)
Approve documentation for new contracts, policy changes, additions, deletions, and renewals
Establish contacts and cultivate relationships within the underwriting community to secure the best rates and coverage for Aon clients
Develop coverage strategies and marketing initiatives for renewals and potential business
Acquire new business through existing clients, client referrals, targeted campaigns, and the Aon client network, placing them in the appropriate insurance market
Respond to client inquiries via phone or email
Provide guidance when a claim is reported or requested
Other related tasks as needed

Skills and experience that will lead to success
Post-secondary degree
French / English bilingualism is required due to the frequent interactions with clients, colleagues, or partners based in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and/or internationally.
AMF damage insurance license
Over 2 years of relevant experience in commercial lines
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power
Point, and Outlook
Knowledge of commercial and financial line products and services
Ability to organize and manage various tasks
Committed team player
Customer service, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Analytical, mathematical, decision-making, and negotiation skills
