We are a busy family in South Surrey looking for a warm, reliable and highly capable part-time Family Assistant / Household Manager to help keep our home and family running smoothly.

This is a unique position combining childcare for our 3-year-old daughter with family meal preparation, laundry and general household support. We are not looking for a traditional housekeeper or full-time nanny. We are hoping to find another trusted and capable adult who enjoys young children, is comfortable in the kitchen, takes initiative around the home and is looking for a consistent, long-term part time position.

Regular schedule – 19 guaranteed hours/week: Wednesday: 2:00–9:00 pm

Thursday: 1:00–8:00 pm

Sunday: 8:00 am–1:00 pm

On Wednesdays and Thursdays, there will be several hours before our daughter is home for meal preparation, laundry and household tasks. Once she is home, the focus shifts to dinner, playtime and her evening/bedtime routine. Sunday mornings involve caring for our daughter while we take our older son to soccer, followed by meal preparation and household organization for the week ahead.

We are looking for someone who is a confident home cook,



comfortable with laundry and household organization, dependable, organized and able to work independently. We especially value someone who notices what needs to be done and takes initiative.

A valid driver's licence, clean driving record and reliable vehicle are preferred. Regular driving of our children is not currently required, although this could become part of the role in the future. Occasional local errands, such as grocery or household pickups, may also be required.

We have two children, ages 11 and 3, and already have a wonderful nanny who assists our family on other days. This is an additional long-term position to provide our family with more household support and reliable coverage.

Pay: $25-30/hour. We are hoping to find someone trustworthy, kind, capable and dependable who can become a consistent part of our family's routine for the long term.
