The Archaeology team at Stantec is seeking seasonal Field Laborers/Technicians for the busy 2026 archaeology field season. You will undertake physically demanding outdoor tasks and travel across Ontario, working alongside licensed archaeologists.

Your role is crucial in delivering high-quality archaeological services that meet the diverse needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct Stage 2-4 archaeological fieldwork under direction
- Engage in site excavations and artifact documentation
- Perform test pit and pedestrian surveys in varying weather




- Follow safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance
- Work collaboratively with Indigenous communities on projects

Requirements:

- Physically fit and experienced in demanding fieldwork
- Ability to travel within Ontario for overnight work
- Full G driver’s license in good standing preferred
- Capable of excellent teamwork and independent work
- Openness to learning current skills and adapting
