Hello! We are a friendly family in search of a caring, reliable, and engaging part-time nanny to care for our then 7-month-old son, beginning in September 2026. We are looking for someone who can commit through at least the end of February 2027, with the possibility of extending if it is a good fit for everyone.
Schedule
We are envisioning help Monday to Friday, for 3 hours per day (i.e., a total of 15 hours/week). We are adaptable with the specific hours in the day. We are also willing to adjust the overall schedule (fewer days/ different total hours) for the right candidate, to find a schedule that works for all of us.
Compensation
$33/hour (i.e., $100 per day)
Location

- We live near the Junction (closest intersection: Annette and Runnymede; closest subway station: Runnymede)
- Care will take place in our home.
- At least one parent will typically be working from home, but you will be the primary caregiver during your scheduled hours.

Responsibilities

The primary role is to provide attentive, engaging care for our baby. We imagine this to include:

- Playing, reading, singing, talking, and interacting with him throughout the visit (no screens)
- Feeding him meals that we have prepared
- Changing diapers
- Helping soothe and settle him for scheduled naps
- Taking him for walks or to a nearby park when appropriate





We are looking for someone who enjoys spending time with infants and is actively engaged with them. During working hours, require that personal phone use be kept to a minimum except for emergencies or childcare-related communication.
What We Are Looking For
We are hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys caring for infants and has experience working with babies or young children. We require someone who is warm, fun, dependable, patient, and attentive. Education or training in early childhood education or a related field, and living nearby would be an asset, though not required.
You must be comfortable working in a home where a parent is present but working remotely.

- No housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, or other household duties—your focus is entirely on caring for and engaging with our baby.
