Full Job Description: Nanny / Household Manager
Location: Edmonton, Alberta

Hours: 30–40 hours/week (depending on availability; flexibility around school runs and occasional evening/weekend help)

About Us

We are a busy family seeking a caring, reliable, proactive, and organized long-term Nanny/Household Manager. We have an 11 month old, as well as three older children (ages 10, 13, and 15) who are with us every other week. Both parents work from home, so we are looking for someone who can balance child care for the infant/soon to be toddler with household support and managing the older kids' school schedules.

Responsibilities

Childcare:

- Provide attentive, loving care for our baby, including feeding, diaper changes, play, and naps.
- The baby is breastfed — mom will take breaks from work to feed, so support is mainly care between feedings.
- School drop-off and pick-up for our older children during the weeks they are with us.

Household Support:

- Assist with laundry (washing, folding, organizing).
- Prepare dinners for the family and/or prep meals to freeze for later use.
- Light household tidying and upkeep (we already have a regular cleaning service for deep cleaning).
- Help with general household organization and errands when needed. This could include helping pack Baby's items for a trip, vacuuming,



adding things to the grocery list.

Other:

- Comfortable working alongside parents who are home during the day.
- Must be okay with cats — we have two friendly cats.
- Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative around the home.

Qualifications

- Previous experience caring for babies and multiple children.
- Valid driver's license and comfortable driving children to and from school.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Positive, dependable, and proactive personality.
- Must be comfortable around pets.
