The University of Toronto Libraries is seeking a reliable Overnight Building Patrol team member for the academic season. You will work Sunday to Thursday, 11 PM to 7 AM or 8 AM, ensuring the library is secure and well-maintained. Key responsibilities include opening and closing libraries, access control, and reporting on safety issues while collaborating with library staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Open and close libraries for staff and patrons
• Provide access control at entrances
• Investigate and report safety issues
• Offer first aid services as needed
• Patrol library areas and respond to alarms
Requirements:
• Grade 12 completion or equivalent
• Two years of relevant work experience
• Valid Security Guard Licence mandatory
• First Aid and CPR-C certification required
• Solid communication skills and professionalism
