Join the Ontario Veterinary College's Health Sciences Centre as an RVT specializing in Anesthesia. Provide high-quality patient care and ensure effective communication in Guelph, Ontario.
This role is temporary full-time, lasting from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2027. You will report to the Supervisor of Patient Care and Service Delivery while primarily focusing on Anesthesia/Radiation Therapy services. Your contributions will support a diverse range of animals and enhance patient recovery through skilled care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and maintain outstanding client service
• Communicate patient care information with service areas
• Ensure accurate medical record-keeping and confidentiality
• Administer treatments and perform diagnostic tests




• Induce and recover patients under anesthesiologist’s guidance
Requirements:
• Completion of a two-year College Diploma
• Successful accreditation by the Ontario Veterinary Technician program
• Must be a full OAVT member in valuable standing
• Completion of Veterinary Technician Exam and ethics exam
• 1-2 years of prior RVT experience in anesthesia preferred
