Launch your career in public affairs as a Government Relations Intern at Ontario Teachers' in Toronto. This role focuses on policy advocacy and building relationships with stakeholders.
From January to December 2027, you will work with the Government Relations and Public Affairs (GPA) team to influence public policy and legislation on behalf of Teachers'. This internship is suited for undergraduate or master’s students interested in economics, political science, or global affairs. You'll engage in research activities, assist in developing presentation materials, and collaborate with various partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support recommendations on strategic initiatives • Prepare presentation materials for senior leadership • Connect with asset classes and functional partners • Monitor legislative changes and assess impacts • Attend meetings with Government stakeholders
Requirements: • Enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s degree • Interest in politics and policymaking • Solid communication skills, oral and written • Proficiency in MS Office applications • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
