Looking for a compassionate live-out elder care provider in North York, Ontario (Lawrence and Jane area). The position is part time, 1 to 1.5 hours per day, any 5 of the 7 days a week. Offering $20.00 - ... per hour. Ideally starting at 2:30 p.M., but there is some flexibility on time. We are seeking a companion who can provide personal care and support to our 101 year old Aunt. The ideal candidate should be kind, patient, able to communicate slowly and clearly (our Aunt is partially hearing impaired), and genuinely interested in providing assistance to an elderly family member.Our Aunt lives in an Assisted Care facility. She needs to get in her wheelchair each day for about half an hour, but cannot be left alone. The Care Home PSW's will move her from bed to chair and back. Responsibilities include remaining with her while in her chair, wheeling the chair around her room or out into the hall, watching for wellness indicators and summoning the PSW's when she tires.



Additionally, any care needs such as helping with feeding or comfort, calling family on her behalf, or similar activities.
