You will be the primary contact for client relations, approving assay results while managing the scheduling and performance of laboratory staff. With a focus on maintaining high-quality standards, you’ll also implement safety protocols and conduct regular performance reviews. This role requires 5-10 years of relevant experience along with effective leadership capabilities in a technical workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee sample workflow and client communication
• Report assay results and manage lab performance




• Conduct health and safety meetings and performance reviews
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations
• Coordinate staff schedules for effective lab operations
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Chemistry or a related discipline
• BC Registered Assayer Certification preferred
• 5-10 years in a relevant field with some supervisory experience
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and software applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
