Join J.C. Charyk Hanna School as a full-time custodian and help maintain a clean, safe workplace. We are seeking a responsible individual with strong cleaning skills to start immediately.
This position is only open to CUPE employees and involves an 8-hour workday for a total of 40 hours each week. The custodian will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the school in compliance with Alberta Health Services guidelines. You should be physically fit, capable of routine tasks, and have knowledge of standard cleaning practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and sanitize school areas according to health guidelines
• Perform routine physical tasks efficiently throughout the day
• Maintain and utilize industrial cleaning equipment safely




• Follow safe procedures for chemical usage and PPE
• Work independently and adhere to quality cleaning standards
Requirements:
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Knowledge of standard cleaning practices and procedures
• Physical strength and stamina for job demands
• Must pass Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Check
• Available for split shift as required
