The Adult Learning Institute (ALI) seeks an experienced educator to design and deliver a course that equips future teacher aides with critical skills for classroom success. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education, with a minimum of three years working with diverse learners. You will cover everything from classroom management to ethical responsibilities, fostering the next generation of paraprofessionals in K-12 settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and teach a qualified training course • Instruct on paraprofessional roles and responsibilities • Educate on effective communication strategies • Support inclusive practices for diverse learners • Cover legal and ethical education considerations
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field • K-12 Teaching License or Adult Education Credential required • 3+ years in K-12 teaching roles • Experience teaching or mentoring adults • Proficient in strategies for supporting special needs
