We are two work-from-home professionals looking for a warm, caring, and engaged nanny to become a trusted part of our family and care for our daughter.Our daughter is currently 4 months old, so the position will begin with infant care and grow into the toddler years.ScheduleSeptember–December 2026: Part-timeDaughter will be approximately 5–8 months oldFlexible: half-days Monday–Friday or 2–3 full days/weekOne parent will be on maternity leave and will work closely with the nanny during this transition periodOpportunity to learn our routines and childcare preferences while getting to know our daughterJanuary 2027 onward: Full-timeDaughter will be approximately 9 months oldMonday–Friday, 9am–6pmMinimum 8-month commitment, with possibility of continuing longerWho we're looking forThe most important thing is finding someone we feel completely comfortable trusting with our daughter and in our home. In particular, we're looking for someone who:Has experience caring for infants/young childrenHas First Aid/CPR certificationHas ECE Level 1 or 2 (or equivalent training), or significant hands-on childcare experience providing equivalent knowledge and skillsIs warm, patient, responsible, and dependableEnjoys actively playing, reading, exploring, and creating fun, age-appropriate daysIs comfortable taking initiative and communicating openlyIs a non-smokerIs comfortable around a large, friendly dog. Dog care is not part of the roleIs able to drive — not required, but a bonusSpeaks Korean — strong preference, but not required. We'd love for our daughter to hear and learn Korean from an early ageHas Montessori experience/training — a bonus, but not requiredIs familiar with Elimination Communication (EC) — a bonus,
but not required. We are currently practicing EC and will eventually be transitioning to potty trainingThe roleOur priority is providing our daughter with fun, engaging, and enriching days.Responsibilities will include:Play and age-appropriate activitiesReading, music, and outdoor timeMeals and snacksDiaper changes, naps, and daily routinesSupporting elimination communication and eventual potty trainingOutings and activities as she gets olderSmall household tasks during downtime, such as meal preparation, laundry, vacuuming, and tidyingChildcare is always the priority.
