Make a difference in mental health as a full time Wellness Coach with Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools. Engage with students, families, and staff to foster wellness and promote mental health.
In this role, you'll deliver evidence-based programming aimed at enhancing knowledge and skills regarding mental health. Collaborating with school communities, you’ll build relationships with mental health experts, ensuring accessibility to necessary services. This full-time position offers a flexible 35-40 hour workweek with potential for 4-5 days of service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and deliver classroom presentations on mental health topics
• Collaborate with staff, parents, and community members




• Maintain strong connections to mental health services
• Plan community activities to promote healthy interactions
• Ensure compliance with HIA and AHS policies
Requirements:
• Registration with ACSW or CAP required
• Experience with children and youth in group settings
• Relevant post-secondary degree or diploma preferred
• Knowledge of addiction and mental health issues
• Strong public speaking and relationship-building skills
