AECOM is hiring Archaeology Field Technicians at Levels 1 to 4 for various locations including Sault St. Marie and Hamilton. This position supports archaeological activities under the direction of a Field Supervisor, and involves identifying significant artifacts, following safety protocols, and participating in junior leadership activities. Expect to travel extensively throughout Ontario in all weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:



• Perform archaeological fieldwork with guidance • Identify and recover artifacts from various cultures • Adhere to health and safety best practices • Travel extensively to field sites • Assist Field Supervisor in executing technical duties

Requirements: • High school diploma or higher • Previous relevant work experience for higher levels • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs • Timeliness and proper weather preparedness for work • Awareness and sensitivity to Indigenous cultures
