In this permanent position, you will report to the Director of People and Culture, managing payroll processes and benefits administration, onboarding, and HR policy implementation. With 3-5 years of experience, you will focus on ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll practices while enhancing employee experience and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer the internal payroll process with external payroll provider • Maintain accurate payroll records for changes and updates • Assist with employee inquiries regarding payroll issues • Set up and support employees during benefits enrollment • Prepare employment agreements and onboarding documents
Requirements: • Certification as a Payroll Compliance Practitioner • 3-5 years in payroll and benefits administration • Strong numerical and analytical skills • Familiarity with ADP, BambooHR, or similar systems • Understanding of Alberta Employment Standards
