Become a Policy Analyst for the Métis Nation in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, focused on committee support and policy research. Drive effective operations for legislative assemblies and provincial councils.
This full-time, permanent position requires expertise in policy, procedures, and administration. Working closely with the Director of Cabinet and Legislative Services, you will provide essential support to the Métis Nation Legislative Assembly (MNLA) and Provincial Métis Council (PMC) committees. Responsibilities include organization of meeting logistics, document preparation, and communication with elected officials and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: • Provide policy and procedural support for MNLA and PMC committees • Research and summarize legislative matters for informed decision-making • Coordinate agenda, minutes,
and meeting documentation • Track resolutions and ensure timely follow-up • Manage effective communication with committee members and public partners
Requirements: • Post-secondary education in related fields • 2–3 years of experience in government or Indigenous governance • Solid writing, organizational, and time management skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting tools • Valid Saskatchewan driver’s license and criminal record check
